Objectives
The Association is keen to ensure the deepening of financial markets in Africa by engaging in measures that enable and facilitate investment, trading, and settlement of securities through stockbrokers and securities dealers across exchanges in Africa through;
- Supporting and promoting the African Exchange Linkage Project.
- Participating in policy formulation by influencing legislative and regulatory direction.
- Promoting the common interest of members of the respective national Associations.
- Promoting innovations that meet the diversification needs of investors in Africa.
- Lobbying and advocacy.
- Facilitating networking and interaction among member associations for investment opportunities in new markets and promoting products and regional diversification.
- Facilitating African market research, analytics, and literacy.
- Promoting capacity building and training programs for members.
- Helping address the lack of depth and liquidity in Africa’s financial markets.
- Promoting Cross-border trading among the African countries.
